Fruits and Vegetables Help Reduce Smoking Habits. Smoking habits have negative effects for the body. To stop it, much the way done. A study says if eating lots of fruits and vegetables can be a powerful way to eliminate the habit of smoking.

Research from the School of Public Health and Health Professions University at Buffalo studying the relationship between fruit and vegetable with smoking. The study involved 1000 current smokers aged over 25 years. Within 14 months, they trace how many cigarettes smoked.

The study found that if smokers who consume lots of fruits and vegetables can be more resistant to not smoke for at least 30 days. Other results also indicate if smokers who eat more fruits and vegetables more easily reduce cigarette per day.

There are several explanations that support the results of this study, namely fruit and vegetables can reduce nicotine dependence, and also high in fiber can make people feel more full. "Maybe if fruits and vegetables to make people feel full, and the desire to be smoking less," said Jeffrey P. Haibach, MPH, one of the researchers.
